Handling Mental Manipulation

This article by Michael McCune (not a Christian Scientist) explains the mental manipulations of the puppeteer over millions of people. Jeff Dunham once joked that his most famous puppet — Achmed the Dead Terrorist — could make an entire audience jump, laugh, or gasp… all without ever lifting a finger.

Achmed didn’t have power.

He borrowed it.

The crowd gave it to him.

And as I watch America today, I can’t help but ask a question that cuts deeper than comedy:

𝐖𝐡𝐨’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬?

Because somewhere along the way, a nation of free men and women — a nation built on independent thinking, courage, debate, and actual backbone — started reacting exactly like an audience in a comedy club.

• One headline pulls the string and millions gasp.

• One narrative twitches a finger and half the country panics.

• One talking head yells “Silence! I kill you!”

— and people actually freeze.

We laugh at Achmed because we know he’s a puppet.

But the uncomfortable truth is:

𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭.

We aren’t being controlled with bombs, tanks, or threats.

We’re being controlled with something far more effective:

𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫. 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞. 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

That’s the new al-Qaeda — not the terrorist in the box,

but the programming in the mind.

And the people pulling those strings aren’t hiding in caves.

They sit in studios, boardrooms, bureaucracies, and digital platforms —

It happens every time.

One headline drops…

and suddenly America has a new enemy.

Not because the threat is real,

but because fear is the easiest string to pull.

When a non-citizen Afghan murdered a National Guard member, the story wasn’t about that individual or a system failure —

overnight, 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞.

When a Muslim mayor won in New York, it wasn’t a local political shift —

the narrative instantly became that 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫.

When Charlie Kirk was killed, people didn’t pause, breathe, or think.

They pointed fingers at everyone — Antifa, MAGA, federal agents, militias —

anything that fit the outrage of the moment.

When Donald Trump was nearly assassinated, the blood wasn’t even dry before headlines blamed:

• the Right

• the Left

• the rhetoric

• the guns

• the “climate”

• the extremists

• the internet

Everything except the truth: 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐞𝐭.

And then comes one of the biggest examples of emotional puppetry America has ever seen:

𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐄𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧.

When Epstein died, the country split into a thousand accusations overnight:

“It was the Clintons.”

“No, intelligence agencies.”

“No, billionaires.”

“No, Trump.”

“No, it was suicide.”

“No, it was murder.”

People weren’t thinking — they were reacting.

Because mystery is the strongest string of all.

And it didn’t stop there.

• Truckers in Ottawa — “Domestic terrorists.”

• Parents at school boards — “Extremists.”

• January 6th retirees with cell phones — “Insurrection army.”

• People questioning elections — “Threat to democracy.”

• People questioning vaccines — “Anti-science cult.”

• People questioning open borders — “White nationalists.”

Every time, the pattern is identical:

𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 →

𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 →

Not because Americans are weak —

The real force controlling America isn’t ideology or party.

The people in charge don’t need to outrun the truth.

They just need to stay one outrage ahead of your ability to think.

Fear disables reason.

Outrage disables unity.

Identity disables humility.

Confusion disables resistance.

This is puppetry on a national scale.

And like Achmed on stage,

it works because 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬.

The puppeteers don’t have to overpower us.

They only have to distract us.

I’ve had 𝟒𝟐 posts go viral in the past several months.

Not because I pull strings —

When I turn on the news,

I can see 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 which emotional string

they’re about to pull on the American people.

Fear.

Moral outrage.

Identity.

Shock.

Division.

It’s predictable.

It’s engineered.

And once you learn to see it?

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

That is the goal of every post I write —

𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

Because between now and the midterms,

they will pull 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 string possible:

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭.

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭.

𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫.

And if they succeed?

𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 becomes the law of the land.

They will own you —

and the generations after you.

But if you cut the strings?

If you see the game before they play it?

They lose everything.

Awareness is the revolution.

Calm is the weapon.

And a free mind is the one thing

they cannot conquer.
