Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching and preaching

Matthew, one of Christ Jesus disciples says this, "...Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people." Matthew 4:23

So since Christ Jesus was teaching and preaching divine law healing sickness and disease ,wasn't he expecting each of the people who heard him to live the divine law and use it in every day life. John in the Bible puts it this way, "...If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed." So isnt' this true today.

Luke put it this way, "The disciple is not above the master: but everyone that is perfect shall be as his master."

Christ Jesus talked about divine law expecting people to listen, learn and then apply to their every day life. Each of us are spiritual beings living by divine law. Matter can make no laws for us. Mrs. Eddy explains divine law this way, "When we come to have more faith in the truth of being than we have in error, more faith in Spirit than in matter, more faith in living than in dying, more faith in God than in man, then no material suppositions can prevent us from healing the sick and destroying error. (S&H 368:14)

Each of us is all that God is as stated in Genesis 1 as the image of good and in I John 3:1-3 God is defined as love so as image we are also spiritual Love. Christ Jesus gave a one prayer, the Lord's Prayer which defines who we are in the first two words and then states divine law. Our true self is how Mrs. Eddy defines God as seven synonyms of Life, Truth, Love, Soul, Mind, Principle, Spirit. These synonyms are also our divine energies that are divine laws that are within as Luke says "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21) We are spiirtual beings. Mrs. Eddy gives this "Scientific Statement of Being" of who we are on page 468 in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual." Now apply each statement in the Scientific Statement of Being to yourself because it is divine law. Applying these truths from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy will heal.

One last word in learning to make healing our daily deed Mrs. Eddy says, "First in the list of Christian duties, he taught his followers the healing power of Truth and Love. He attached no importance to dead ceremonies. It is the living Christ, the practical Truth, which makes Jesus “the resurrection and the life” to all who follow him in deed." (S&H 31:14)
